ol pejeta conservancy.

Ol Pejeta is a 360km² conservancy in Laikipia, Kenya. They believe in conservation through guardianship, innovation and authenticity. By trying to maintain and improve the land and ecosystems that the conservancy covers with a mix of science and innovation, Ol Pejeta has become one of the most highly regarded African Conservancies on the continent.

Ol Pejeta is also the home to Najin and Fatu, the last two northern white rhinos on the planet.

I’m a long term supporter of the conservancy, and have worked with them through a number of different charities.

making a northern white rhino.

As you may have seen in National Geographic, Ol Pejeta is on the verge of a major scientific breakthrough for rhino conservation. Scientists from around the world are currently working together in order to attempt to artificially inseminate surrogate white rhinos with sperm collected from the now passed northern white rhino males Suni and Saut.

adopt an anti-poaching dog.

The Kenyan Police Reservests can’t keep Ol Pejeta poacher free on their own. Their canine friends track, attack and detect poachers and help keep a huge range of animals safe from illegal hunting, inhumane snares and even poison. The dogs are highly trained, very loyal and a vital piece of the conservation team.
